Help with some upgrades

been meaning to freshen up the front end on my RS and wanted to pick your brains about risers, throttle cables, and brake lines. so....im thinking of going a bit taller on the bars for a more upright ride, nothing wild, just something easier on the back and wrists for longer rides. If you've swapped risers, how tall did you go without needing to reroute or replace your throttle and brake lines? any brands or setups you'd recommend (or avoid)? I'd rather not end up with a throttle that sticks or brakes that feel spongy because of the extra reach.

Yep, good call on the comfort upgrade! Going up about an inch or so usually works without needing longer cables.. you can check out online for the setups. Before buying make sure to turn your handlebars all the way and see how much wiggle the cable have. Just making sure that they aren't too tight.

Late reply but I went up about 1 inch on mine and didn’t have to replace cables, just had to free up some slack and reroute a bit. @this.is.eve Definitely turn lock to lock after the install, that’s where issues usually show up.

Late to the party here too, but I’d echo what @Kyoto said... About an inch up usually works fine. Definitely double-check lock-to-lock after the install and make sure nothing’s pinched, especially with the brake lines.
