Used PC3 unlock without Dynojet fee?

Got a PC3 from a friend who had wrecked his Warrior, but it's still attached to his bike. I don't want to pay Dynojet $100 or more to unmarry it. Does anyone know any workaround to unlock it?

Unfortunately, the PC3 doesn't lock to a VIN like the newer units, so you should be able to reuse it without paying Dynojet. Anyway make sure to wipe the old map before flashing your own.

Yeah, @lowendlifter22 you should be good to reuse it without the fee. Just make sure to clear any old maps before loading yours so you don’t run into weird behavior.
