just had some work done—new shinko a005 tires (200/50-17 rear and 130/70-18 front) and swapped in a 31T barons front pulley. the 130 up front is a taller fit but fills the fender perfectly, looks clean. mechanical side's all buttoned up now, just waiting on the rear fender from the painter. itching to hit the road once it's back.
anyone else running this setup? curious if you noticed any changes in ride feel or performance with a similar pulley mod.

that setup sounds fantastic! i remember when i helped a buddy install a 130 tire (can't recall the brand either but it looked incredible) and we hit the open road for an epic ride. the tire expanded a bit in the heat so we had to improvise with some bushings to get the spacing just right. nothing like a little DIY adventure right? the only hiccup was when a rogue rock decided to wedge itself between the tire and the fender leaving a tiny chip on the fender lip. even so the bike looked absolutely amazing and it handled like a dream.

definitely let us know how the Shinko tires hold up for you! i've heard great things about them but it's always awesome to hear 1sthand feedback. with that setup i bet your ride's going to turn a lot of heads. can't wait to hear your evaluation after you've had some time on the road with them 🏍️

From my experience, the 31T front pulley can smooth out acceleration and lower RPMs at cruising speeds, creating a more relaxed ride. Once that fender's back, you'll be ready to roll in style.

I don't have this setup but I vouch for it. Just thinking about it right now makes me see how supercharged your bike will be after the rear fender is up there already. I know you'll have a more stable and comfortable ride in your bike at higher speeds so you'll be more chill in the highway. It's just going to be a lot different so I suggest you feel it first before going on a long ride.

If I figured what's wrong with my thirdhand Warrior, I'll just get "work done" to be honest so if there are problems I know what to blame not like now where I'm just always stuck. Following this thread.

that's a very clean upgrade, very functional too. I like that idea. Especially the front 130 tire will make driving more stable and give a better look. Nice job :)

Haven't tried this yet but dude that's sleek! Update us in the forum after quite some time on your feel so we can have firsthand review from you :)
