rear wheel upgrade

like most warrior owners i'm thinking abut pulling the trigger on a wider rear tire so i wanna hear your thoughts about how wide to go. I wouldn't mind doing something crazy but i need to know the modifications I'll need to make. how wide can the bike handle with no modifications and if i want to go wider what modifications do i need to make?

260mm has got to be the widest to fit the stock swingarm, but don't expect it to look pretty, it's really quite... bland. And the aspect radius change makes it more susceptible (IDK if that's the proper term or vulnerable) to wear and tear. You'll need wheel widening and it's quite a lot of work to be honest.

@boohowaer 200mm is a good choice with no mods, but if you're thinking 240mm or wider, you'll need an offset pulley, wider wheel, and maybe swingarm adjustments. Fender mods and possibly a chain conversion come into play too. It'll look awesome, but handling might get a bit tighter.

200mm is a great choice for no mods and stepping up to 240mm or wider will indeed require an offset pulley, wheel widening, fender tweaks and possibly swingarm adjustments or a chain conversion. As mentioned, a 260mm tire can fit the stock swingarm but the aspect ratio change might lead to faster wear and could make it less visually appealing. Yep. this is it. If you go wider than 240mm this will involve more complex mods like swingarm replacement

You can generally go 1-2 inches wider without major mods! Just need to upgrade your fender clearance like @FakePinkGuy said. But before you proceed, consult with a mechanic not us from the forums. We're all dumb in our own little way.

I run a 280, but that involves widening the rear wheel, modifying the swing arm, addressing the rear fender, and making modifications to the rear pulley spacing.
