Sharing my handle bar switch experience

Just a little gist moment because I want to share my somewhat little (big) win.
I Swapped out the stock setup on my '05 Road Star Warrior for a set of sporting drag bars and decided to redo the handlebar switches while I was at it because I didn't just want a cosmetic upgrade, I wanted something that felt tighter, more responsive, and a little cleaner on the controls side. I'm proud to say that the drag bars give it a kinda low, aggressive stance, and the new switch setup really cooks things up for me

What actually surprised me is how much it changed the ride feel. So because I made the bars pulled in and lower, the steering now feels more direct, and I noticed my body position changed for the better. Took it out for a shakedown run and it honestly feels like a different bike for me, so maybe this is cue to maybe do a handle bar mod? lol

Anyway, till next time guys

That sounds awesome! How tricky was the switch redo? Did you need to extend any wiring or change the housing? Also, did the new bars affect comfort on longer rides? Thinking about doing something similar down the line. Thanks!

I've been thinking about something similar, but my main issue has been the electronics. I'm not saying I'll do a poor job, but a friend of mine did something similar and he was chasing electrical goblins for years and he gave up and sold the bike for parts.
