Planning to add turbocharger

My Roadstar Warrior 1700 is perfect but it kinda is lacking a turbocharger. How hard can it be to add that? What materials will I need and how much is the estimated budget for it? Please if you gotta spell out everything for me that would be so much better.

You can but it's tricky. It's not your usual plug and play feature so expect that the price can be steep. Plus you gotta be 100% sure and confident about the person who will install it for you? Because that's the air, fuel, and heat you're touching. One wrong move and you might say bye to your engine.

Definitely possible, but it's not as easy as just bolting on a turbo. You'll need a small turbo like a TD04 or GT25, a custom exhaust manifold, oil lines, intake piping, a fuel controller (like a Power Commander), a boost gauge, and a good tune. Expect to spend about $4,000 to $6,000 depending on what parts you get and how much fabrication is needed. It's not a beginner project,some welding, tuning, and a bit of patience will be necxessary

Yeah, you can definitely do it, but it won't be a quick fix. Are you comfortable with welding and tuning? Thinking about doing it yourself or taking it to a shop?
