Recall check

I know the 04 road star warrior had a recall about the rear brakes, but none of the previous owners I managed to track down could tell me if it was taken to get it fixed. Any way I can check this or at least verify it?

I think your local Yamaha dealer can help you with that. SInce it was a recall, one of the owners had to take it to them and they'll have that info in their system.

@boohowaer , made sense there, you can call a Yamaha dealer with the VIN and they can check if the recall was done or still open. If it's incomplete, they'll usually handle it free of charge
